Event #2 Plotting Post
The primary villain, known as the First Evil, wields power over a unique demon called a djinn. This wicked creature has the ability to appear in the dreams of each member of the team of heroes, taking on the guise of someone they trust. Its aim? To persuade them into making a wish. However, these wishes aren't what they seem. Once granted, they often spiral into disastrous consequences. This djinn is also a giant asshole and jealous of the friendships he’s seen forming among you, so watch out for complications. And there's a catch: the djinn prohibits them from wishing to return home.

There will be less cohesiveness during this event and more tagging out. Pay attention to the comments below to see how the wishes will turn out to see what you want to tag into! It all comes together in the end when the djinn needs to die, trust me.

Hold on a sec. Something’s not quite right here. Your wish isn’t just about you—it’s affecting the folks closest to you as well. Can you imagine how puzzled they must be feeling right now? Work together to figure out what happened.
Research
I hope you didn’t wish for everything to go back to "normal," because now you've got a bit of a quest on your hands. You need to dive into some serious research to figure out how to track down and take out a djinn. It's not going to be a walk in the park, that's for sure.
Restore
Taking down that sucker might sound like a piece of cake, but it's not as simple as it seems. Sure, he might look puny with those spindly limbs and those teeth that could use a good dental plan, but don't be fooled. That's just his real appearance. The tricky part? He's a shape-shifter. He'll morph into the faces of the people you care about most, making it a whole lot harder to know who to trust.

The Wish: So, K's wish is going to end up being for Ronan to care about him the way he cares about Ronan (so, love!), which is something he'd absolutely say if he thought he was having a normal dream, and not actually talking to a djinn with his best friend/Prokopenko's appearance. (If he thought anything would come of it, he wouldn't have made the wish in the first place, since he wants Ronan to love him for real and not because of magic, not even considering other potential side effects, however-) Instead of Ronan falling for him, everyone K makes eye contact with is compelled to feel infatuated with him. He's not going to love it! I'm planning on having options for this, ie; it's going to take Kavinsky one or two times of people wanting to fling themselves at him before he realizes something isn't right (I'm sure it works on npcs/regular city residents, too, so!), and after that point he's going to try and figure out a way to avoid eye contact. Problem is, he's never shied away from it, so- I'm thinking either sunglasses or a blindfold. At least with sunglasses he can still try to help with the research part, without the whole compulsion bit.
Research: He has no idea what to do about a djinn, or where to begin looking, so he might not be as helpful as he'd like. But he's going to be plenty grumpy; he doesn't like the idea of something impersonating someone you trust just to manipulate you. He'll still try to lend a hand however he can, though.
Restore: He might not be much help with defeating the djinn, either. He'd want to try, but then the first moment he realizes the djinn can just look like one of his boys or Ronan (or sees this happen, either way) he's absolutely not going to put himself into a position where he has to worry about potentially making a wrong decision and hurting someone he cares about.
